The First Chakra

We all begin our lives at the first or Muladhara chakra. It’s about survival, safety, and security. It is our most basic set of motives. That’s why politicians so often play to people’s fear. If they feel threatened with nonexixstence or death, they might forget all their other misgivings and give in. But there are also positive sides to the first chakra. It’s the center of courage, and responsiveness and responsibility. So the question here becomes how you are using –or used by– the different kinds of first chakra energies, and then what you can do about that.
