The book boxed with the deck offers deep insights into the chakras. It tells how to use the deck and every card. Color keyed to the chakras, it has detailed information about each chakra, two pages about each card, and several chapters that describe methods of working and playing with the cards.

SECTIONS OF THE BOOK

Part I: How Chakras Mix and Mingle includes the Introduction and a chapter about each of the seven principal chakras. The Introduction tells about Tantra Yoga and briefly describes each chakra. It introduces its cards and offers a section titled “The structure of the deck and book.” It also tells how to care for and use your cards. Then come seven chapters about the individual chakras. Each has three pages of overview and two pages about the every one of that chakra’s cards. Part II describes ways of working and playing with the cards.

THE PAGES ABOUT EACH CARD

Every card has two pages. There is a color picture of the card and an section called “Conversing with the Card.” Then come “Keys for Interpretation.” These include “Sensations in the Body;” “The Thinking Process;” “Little Feelings, Big Emotions;” and “Pathway of Spirit.” The Pathway” section is divided into “Inner Alertness” and “Outer Awareness.” These sections contribute to an expansive understanding of how the card illuminates your or your client’s experiences and questions. Finally come “Keywords” and a thought-provoking quote.

THE CARDS AS AN ORACLE AND GUIDE

Part II is about how to use the cards. Chapter Eight includes  “Listening to your Muses,” “Connecting with your Inner Mystic,” Seeing with Your Third Eye,” and “Your Private Video Screen.” Then three chapters describe chakra card spreads and how to use them. Spreads are historically a Tarot reading approach. With this deck they are also useful in counseling or psychotherapy. Chapter 11, “Compatibility, Communications, and Chakra Connections” explores relationships. Chapter 12 shows keywords for all the cards in one place.
